We all dream about it
We all want it to make us better
We want that feeling

That feeling where we feel like time is standing still
I want to feel the rain fall on my face
As I think of the one that gives me hope

The perfect love
So few attain it
Many spend their entire life in search of it
I search for it with all of my heart

Lonely is the road that leads to it
So many lovers have been turned away
So many like me have killed good love
Because of it

Now I stand on a road
Where I want perfect love to cover over me
Broken down for something I can't have
Wonder if It could change my life in an instant

It's a tear that hangs just outside of my cheek
No one but me can see it
It feels like a Fallen Angel floating down my face
It feels like perfect love always blows me a kiss
That isn't meant for me

Am I a blackout that can't be felt
Am I the broken necklace that used to hang upon the one I long for
Perfect love will you come down and show me the way
I know she would be comfort by my side
If only I could convince her so
