Follow the light directed by the moon
surrender yourself to the meaning of the day
much like the common man working just to get by
Somewhere deep inside I will take the blame
For hurting you so

Help me find a way to make things right again
Like when someone is feeling down
want to find a way to lift them up
unlike when love dies during a break up
Or how the heart is crushed by the actions of another

Want to see it come together
Need to see it rise up like a rainbow in sky
just like when someone gives all they have
When they are fighting for something they truly believe in

My heart is deep and it's sinking
But I believe I'm on the right road
To seeing it all wash a shore
