Album Review
Fold Zandura is one of
those bands that was plagued by bad luck. They have had
the worst luck when it comes to record labels. I really believe that's one
of
the reasons they never had a bigger following. I wish I knew how to describe
their sound. One thing you have to love about these guys they sound like no
other band you will ever hear. I will make a stab at it. They have a spacey
aggressive guitar/keyboard techno droney guitar rock noise kind of sound.
If that makes any kind of sense., probably not. Alright how about this
Starflyer 59, My Bloody Valentine, Mortal, Plankeye and Echoing Green
all mixed up.
To my knowledge Return is their first disc. It's not their best but a great
introduction to unsuspecting music inspectors. My favorite's are "Return"
"Ember" and "valgreen."
It's such a shame that Fold Zandura seems to almost be forgotten. They
released
some really great original music. If you are reading this and you have never
had
the pleasure of hearing their music. Do yourself a favor and track down one
of
their albums.
